This Privacy Policy applies to Endunamoo Learning (Pty) Ltd, trading as Endunamoo Africa, and its associated entities, namely Endunamoo Institute (Pty) Ltd, Endunamoo Board Course (Pty) Ltd, Endunamoo ABC (Pty) Ltd, Endunamoo CIMA (Pty) Ltd and Endunamoo Professional Course (Pty) Ltd and any other entity that would incorporated for fulfilment of our ordinary activities (“we”, “us”, “Endunamoo Africa”, or “our”). This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Introduction

1.1. Endunamoo Africa values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy applies to all personal information that we collect through our website, social media platforms, events, forms and other activities.

Collection of Personal Information

2.1. We may collect personal information directly from you or from third-party sources. Personal information includes any information that identifies you, such as your name, identity or passport number, email address, telephone number, and address.

2.3. By registering and/or participating in any of our programmes including the APC Workshop, you give permission to Endunamoo Africa, its associated entities, sponsors, partners and/or collaborators, which may include Claremont Business School, ABASA, AWCA and Investec to process your personal information, which include your first name, last name, contact number, email address and educational information that is or was collected upon your registration.

2.4. These entities are committed to treating such information in accordance with their stipulated privacy and processing of information policies. To enquire about such policies, you may visit the collaborators and sponsor’s respective websites.

2.4. We do not collect credit card information or any payment related information. Payments for our courses or programmes are facilitated by secured third party service providers such as PayFast and YOCO.

Use of Personal Information

3.1. We may use personal information for the following purposes:

3.1.1. To provide and improve our services, including the administration of the mentorship programme

3.1.2. To communicate with you about our services, promotions, and events, including subscription to our AWAKEN newsletter

3.1.3. To personalise your experience with our services, including mentorship programme, team administration and providing personalised marking feedback

3.1.4. To conduct research and analysis to improve our services

3.1.5. To comply with legal obligations

Disclosure of Personal Information

4.1. We may disclose personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:

4.1.1. To our service providers who assist us in providing our services

4.1.2. To corporate administrators who may be funding your studies

4.1.3. To bursary administrators, such as SAICA, Thuthuka and/or FASSET, who are funding your studies

4.1.4. To SAICA and ICAZ secretariat as part of assessing your eligibility to sit for the APC assessment

4.1.5. To comply with legal obligations

4.1.6. To protect our rights, property, and safety or those of our clients or others

4.1.7. In connection with a sale or transfer of our business

4.2. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that our service providers also comply with POPIA and protect personal information.

4.3. We may disclose your names and profile picture to the general public or persons associated with us when we share testimonials, results, stories, candidate conversations, business acumen sessions, open day sessions, recorded contact sessions and marketing flyers. Such disclosure may be on the following platforms which are accessible to the general public:

4.3.1. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, WhatsApp and YouTube

4.3.2. Our general website (www.endunamoo.africa) and online learning platforms (https://portal.endunamoo.africa and https://engage.cloud.microsoft)

4.3.3. Podcast platform

4.4. Specific request may be made prior to sharing your personal information with the general public prior to sharing, and such request may be made immediately or in advance in one of the following ways:

4.4.1. Direct contact via WhatsApp, Telegram and/or email, or via oral conversation

4.4.2. Candidate Conversations briefing document

4.4.3. Business acumen briefing document

4.5. Our learning platform, which is powered by Microsoft, includes Viva Engage and SharePoint, and through this platform, you information, which includes your names and contact details, may be visible to other individuals on such platforms

Protection of Personal Information

5.1. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. We have implemented physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information.

5.2. For our Microsoft platform, we have mandated a second factor authentication process which requires you to enter a one-time password when you login to our platform and thus access your personal information associated with your account.

Your Rights

6.1. You have the right to:

6.1.3. Request that we delete your personal information

6.1.4. Object to the processing of your personal information

6.1.5. Withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information

6.3. You have a right to unsubscribe to our newsletter by clicking “unsubscribe” link on any of the newsletters received from us. In doing so, your personal information will be removed from the newsletter mailing list and you shall not receive any promotional and general communication from us.

6.4. You may not unsubscribe and have your personal information removed from course related mailing list while you are still a registered candidate with us or contractor related mailing list while you are currently contracted with us.

Retention of Personal Information

7.1. We will retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

7.2. Your profile information (such as your name, email address and phone number) may retained for at least 12 months to allow for ease of resumption of engagements with us in the capacity of a student for the same programme, a different programme or in the capacity of a contractor (including a mentor).

7.3. However, academic work such as assessment attempts will not be retained and shall be deleted within a reasonable period following the end of the academic period for your specific enrolment.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

8.1. We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
